Gonna give wildlife materials a call today... I flipped the switch in front to cut the signal down before doing the 50' test, i had left that step out of my original post. Mike came by last night and was able to pin point and walk right to my collar with his quick track without any 180 deg problems. I know i shouldnt really need this system for close range but just wanted to make sure it was working right.

I have a wildlife and I don't like it much either...have to turn off the other collars to get better direction...I also had a used quick track and it was better but still ran into a few problems with it...but I owned an mn-10 and it was the best and most dependable about direction...at real close range to pin point a dog that was not moving... like a dog that was under water or laid up in briars...just disconnect the antenna and walk right up to the dog...I tried that with the wildlife and no difference...I will keep it for now and eventually will replace with an mn...

Why disconnect the antenna reuben? I was doing some searching last night on the web and found a post by someone else saying for real close range tracking to disconnect the antenna... Seems like the direction would not read right.
