Garmin is a luxury... telemetry is insurance. I will find my dogs with my telemetry system when Garmin fails... which happens all the time to everyone I hunt with.

Muddog... WE USE GARMIN!!! Telemetry is a back up system these days. I don't even know what to say? Evidently you have no idea on how to use a telemetry system. You don't track to oil pumps or cell phones. Huh? Sure you get static interference from lots of things, but you're tracking a beep/signal from each individual collar.

I can take my Quick Track and track directly to a downed dog with pin point accuracy.... done it many, many times for myself and others over the years. When you get close, drop it to close range, turn your gain all the way down and barely bring it up to get a signal.
