I see what you're sayin. Ain't nothing wrong with that either, at least in my opinion.
Everybody's gotta start somewhere, and there ARE a lot of younger folks out there that are just starting out, that could certainly use a mentor, and/or a nice dog with good potential to start out with. A lot of us out there weren't that fortunate. I'd have loved to have had the chance to start out with some high potential dogs right off the bat, lol, but I had to learn the hard way on my own. Which is fine too of course. That was some years ago.
It's not like if you farmed out a couple young dogs to someone....that that person is going to be the one 'proving' your dogs out per se'..... I'd say the dogs will be doing that on their own, lol. If they wanna hunt they're gonna hunt, for the most part anyway.....
