Just like building a dog up. Go get in a big trap or pen with a smaller pig but big enough to charge you. When the pig charges put your boot between his eyes and shove his nose in the dirt. Forget theplywood just shove his nose down jump behind him and leg the hog. Then when you go in and the dogs are helping it ain't nothing. When I go in a bay pen I don't want to be behind a board because I have seen them hit and find a hole somewhere under the board and that is all it took for them the hog to get right past that board. I have had a few moments where things did suprise me. But it would be the same if you jumped out from behind a tree. I ain't getting butterflies. When I did martial arts I would be smiling before a fight. I have laughed after getting hit real hard. When you are under stress you do what you have been trained to do. If you have not been trained that is when you freak out. So go practice what to do when a hog charges you. Then when a large hog charges and you don't even have time to think about a tree your boot will go right between his eyes out of habbit. If he is too big to shove his nose in the dirt at least you will be above the cutters and not in front or beside them. Grin
