Thanks for the invite Justin, it turns out that I have a small piece of land east of Beaumont that my great grand father won in a poke game in the twenty's. Planing on coming down to see it some time this fall, will let you know when that might be.
Stags are great open field dogs but they can also be very effective in rough country as well as brush. Mine are bred to have some nose and they do hunt out pretty good just looking.
I have caught a lot of hogs with one cur dog, one Stag, and one Dogo. That makes a pretty effective 3 dog team.
