A lot of different opinions but nothing is guaranteed to stop a dog from catching, especially a half plot with 1/4 (like someone else mentioned).  I've been at this hog hunting for over 10 years now and here is what I would do. 

Enjoy the dog for what she is and hunt the heck out of her, or give/sell her to someone that is looking for that type of dog who will hunt the heck out of her.
