Back before I had a a family to take care of and was only responsible for myself and had a full time job requiring overtime we used to work just to pay for our hunting habits lol and we would hunt at least 5 days a week, I can remember multiple nights when I was younger (18-20) where we would get off work, go hunt all night and I would leave the woods the next morning and go straight to work, dogs and all..........sometimes I miss those days but then I remember how much I like sleeping

Just watch your dogs closely, they will let you know when they are done. I am willing to bet you good money though that the guys who continually place well in the hog dog competitions year in and year out and who work cattle for a living work their dogs daily.... winter summer spring and fall, all year. There are a few guys in my area that use their stock dogs just about everyday to work and catch cattle and the dogs are no joke......it all boils down to conditioning in my opinion, a pro baseball player can get up and play multiple games a week without many issues but throw your average desk jockey out there and see how well he fares by the 4th or 5th game in a week period......I think it works the same way regarding dogs.
