yes whips will tear a pups stomach up as well this way especially with young pups , I had an outbreak of whips on the yard last year . when i'm raising pups I will give the shots on time [ maybe start early @ 5 weeks ] put the sulmet in their drinking water and worm for everything and make sure you give at least one shot with the corona vaccine in it . the only way to avoid all these problems is to stay ahead of them it is much easier to PREVENT all this stuff that attacks a young dog than it is to treat a dog after it gets sick . I know every time I have been lax on prevention I have paid for it and had it bite me in the ars .
the only other way to do it is to build a [ clean room ] and raise the pups indoors and off the ground and never let anybody see or touch them .
