  yep mastitis I have cured it with anti-biotics that I had available but the recommended treatment is with   CLAVAMOX .   seems more common here in the last few years . never had an issue or any body I knew had any issues when breeding dogs  pre 90's  .  people will tell you it is from a dirty invironment , but I am very sanitary in my ways in the whelping box and puppy pens .   I think it is a feed additive of some sort causing this here in the last couple of decades  .
