There is another Taylor that shows up in some old pedigrees and had some people make sure I knew they were not the same person. Toby Robinson or Robertson from around Dayton could fill you in on that. I never heard anyone say for sure where R.E. Taylor was getting those dogs and I'm not sure of the timeframe.
