To each their own flavor. Not gonna down any one's lines specifically, but sine the OP was soliciting opinions....
most
(not ALL) of the dogs of those lines in today's modern day are very 'watered down.' Stale, or a cold bloodline if you will. Some of 'em sure are pretty to look at though.
But as I said, to each their own, and what wouldn't make one person an ideal dog, may make another their idea of the perfect dog.
