I also live in the swamps of south La. This is what works for me. My dogs are on a 20 acre island surrounded
by swamp,bayous, pond and canals. Like Reuben said above, I use Cutters Backyard Bug Control. I hook it to
a hose pipe and spray everything. Inside barrels, floor, roof, surrounding yard, edge of the pond and bayou etc. I also have lots of Banana trees across from the kennels along the bayou. I make sure to spray them also. It goes without saying, Ivermectin once a month religiously, all year round.
During summer I also use Absorbine UltraShield EX sweat & water proof insect repellant. It last for about
20 days. Dont need much, Just mist your dogs with it.
