Appreciate it guys.
We run a mixed herd with alot of braford and some brangus crosses. I wanted to add a long horn bull to two or three hand picked cows and raise the calves long enough to see what they'll shape up like. If any of the calves turn out like I want, it'll give me a half blood to cross over our cattle to draw it down to 1/4 blood.
I want a heavier browsing cow come winter time since we use alot of wooded pastures, and they'd do better browsing alil heavier come during that time.
