I don't min having a dog with a ton of bottom but only run him on our big places and high fenced property's but on most places we hunt if they don't get him stopped by the time they hit 1-1.50 I want them coming back so we can get on another that works just fine down here and it keeps the dogs hunting for me vs me hunting for the dogs even though they r short to medium range we catch a ton of hogs and ya we get burned but still get quite a bit of big toothey hogs so we r happy with them some hogs just won't stop nut grabbing are not but they will pick up on the ones behind him r the next crippled 3 legged hog
