I agree with you guys...he is a nice looking dog...the more I learn about this dog the more I know that whoever bred that dog did a good job because there are several dogs close up in relations to him that are top dogs for coon and squirrel...

yep...I like him too and I tried breeding an old female to him and she didn't take...then I was going to get me a few pups out of him and then a few mt curs with some of my old line fell in my lap so dropped that plan...I also had a kemmer that I bred to a parker and kept 2 males...I am happy with all 4 of these young dogs...there is a nephew to Dude that is about equal to Dude in performance and this young dogs sire is Dudes brother who is also equal to Dude...I requested an agreed to buy a pick pup out of one of those two males related to Dude and out of Dude...this would put me with a lot of Dudes blood right off the bat...might be more dog than this old man can keep up with if I can get a pup that's bred that way...  Grin

Halfbreed...the mt curs I had looked quite a bit like Dude but with a little longer nose it seems...either way they looked much alike...kind of like the old time mt curs...I really don't like some of those feisty looking mt curs that some folks are breeding today...I have heard that some folks are trying to breed more of that old houndier looking mt cur which are what I like...

Right on dude!!!  Grin
