I built a pen off the groung just to raise pups in and when I don't have pups it serves as a ICU pen. And don't ever have any problems with parvo I've always been told to wait two weeks after taking gyp out of pen before first round of shots is given and I usually only give two rounds one about eight weeks old and the other about ten or twelve weeks and don't have any problems

we have off the ground kennels.
