These are the boots we wear in south Louisiana. We use them for hunting, walking rice, walking crawfish ponds, etc. The ankle fit design lets you wear them all day without slipping on the heel causing blisters.
They are non insulated which is what you want in south Louisiana or south Florida. This boot has been around
since the 60's.  I usually get 2 yrs. out of them walking and working crawfish ponds and levees. If I cleaned
them after use they probably would last longer. And yes many of cotton mouths have hit these boots through the years without penetrating the rubber. The new Lacrosse boots look better but these are the ones for working and all day walking.
