I've had most all brands, and I like the Danners best of all.  My favorite boots which I still have two pair were called the "Danner Sharptail Covey Snake Boots" but I understand they have been discontinued.  I would google that name and see if I could find someone with some stock still for sale.  They are pricey, but in my opinion you get what you pay for.
