I have not seen any talk on this forum about a JackRat (Jack Russel x Rat Terriar) but my buddy had one that was his best strike/bay dog he has ever had in the 25yrs he's been hunting. Unfortantly he was ran over in the yard. He has another one coming on now and I have seen him in action. He don't have the strike down yet but the bay, he's got it and he isn't but just over a year old. I know some dogs just have it and some don't so it would be a toss up cause they are not known for hog hunting to my knowledge.
ya no one talk about jackrats our fox terrier but they are really leggy an fast but a cross lacyxjagds and mt currxjagds are crazy little dogs that don't live long enough to talk much about them!
