I can see catching 3-5 hogs a hunt in good country......we've done it a few times.

But to log 100 hogs in 2 months......you'd still need to hunt 3 times a week and average a little better than 4 hogs a hunt with NO dry runs. Thats assuming you have Plenty of dogs for back up to replace the ones that get cut and are out for a week or more.

That's a pretty tall order.

I guess if you can hunt 4-5 times a week it would make the numbers more manageable.

When I first signed up to ETHD we caught over a 100 by the end of February in under 15 hunts....

This year we haven't hunted since May and we almost broke 300 in hunting maybe 2-3 times a week

Just saying it can be done

I agree with you CANTEXDUCK... I'm going to get you a black dog this next litter brother so you can finally have something breed worthy Smiley

I'm with Mikes statement. If you want to breed and cull for yourself, great! To sell unproven crosses like most ppl do is what irritates me.

TRUST me, you will know when your dogs are breed worthy; people will knock on your door and ask to breed their best dog to anyone one of your males or females when you got the right stuff. Until then keep at it
