I think Im going to start my cat on working a blood trail and yes their are a bunch of hogs in the area. I might be shooting myself in the foot with him. I have a 1/2 lab 1/2 mastiff puppy that Im thinking of trying to train for next year. I know Ive seen and heard that a lab is a good tracking dog. A biologist in a big hunting club by my house used a full blood lab to track all of their deer. I think this year will be an experimental year for me on training and learning the deer tracking trade.
