243 is hard to beat I don't need anything bigger I killed a Moose with a 243 and I watched him fall over with a shot threw the heart

Perfect shot...hit a rib or shoulder blade on that rascal and he runs away

And thats why u drill the neck. The high velocity shocks the spinal cord, disrupting the nervous system flow, blows out the wind pipe and arteries. Even with my 270 and 308, if i have an extra sec to line up on the neck, i put the round there.
