Yes, it is a german made knife, out of soligen (sp) germany and yes the look like a case sod buster n iv had both n ended up staying with eye brand bc that paticular sod buster wouldnt hold an edge just carring it in my pocket but it could have been that paticular knife didnt temper as well as others.
