If a man goes with a Honda put a snorkel on it first thing. Intake clogs easily without one.

New gator that I hunted with was useless after the first water crossing. Bout knee deep water.

Rangers are hit and miss. I have seen them run a long time with little trouble other than belt issues. Others I have seen ran the gamut. 1 didn't go 3 miles motor blew up. Others were constant electrical issues. Some the guys that owned them crossed their fingers every time they tried to crank them. If theirs would crank they had little trouble.

Rhinos have some belt issues but never heard of much trouble otherwise.

To be honest the amount of issues in the ranger could be because they are the most sold side x side. Hence more to have issues.

I currently have a honda big red. If I was to buy a new one tomorrow it would be the new pioneer from Honda. Snorkels of course just in case.

I agree with the red 100%, I know one thing for sure, I see WAY more rangers heading to and from deer leases than I see any others. Like a said my little rhino is a workhorse I like it just fine but I like the ranger more, I am considering the pioneer also.
