I'm not sure about giving meds that young either...

I've seen a few pups that had the same thing happen to them and turned out fine.

I agree with Mr. Mike, a pup wondered to the wrong side of the yard while they were out explorin here at the house, well he put his nose in the wrong feed bowl and one of my males got him like you are talkin about Kevin, he had one small puncture wound on top of his head but it swelled up like an orange lol. I sprayed vetericyn on it a cpl times just to be safe and he was fine in a few days.
