I think with some dogs it can be trained only because they are already good hunting dogs...but just like most good hunting dogs...they are born to do it naturally...that trait is not one that I care for...trying to catch a dog before catching the hog...makes it for a long night when one is ready to go home...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
A hunting dog is born not made...
