nah man i understand and that service pole does look pretty rough. i was just trying to save ya some time and money. with putting a 30 amp two pole breaker on the bottom of your main your eliminating the chance of it tripping out your main because it will travel to the 30 and trip it before it interfears with 100 amp main. you will still be in code with a independent disconnect at the main and put a disconnect on the shed. if your were going to tap into the top side of the main you would need the power company to turn of the power or pull the meter off , you could do that yourself but the really frown on a customer messing with a meter.
