im in california and it is sadder than most of you think.i went to 4 hearings on the bear and bobcat hoiund deal year befoe last in sacramento. those democrats had no desire to even listen to any facts or number of folks who wanted it to remain legal or financial burden or anyhting. this was 100 percent sponsored by the hsus and their leader from washington dc got up in the hearings and said it didnt matter if we got it defeated, as if we did they would be back with it the next year on the ballot and we would loose in a lanslide. and he was right. as for the lad ban weve had it here where i live and hunt for five yrs plus due to the condor zone. but now it will be state wide and cover every bird and animal hunted. i remember oregon fell so fast on bear dogs that folks were just in shock. heck i remember when you could see a leagl cockpit from i 5 in oregon and now its a felony intent state. and just ask the rooster folks how they will never take away part of their heritage. do you know in california havin a large number of apbt looking dogs is prima facia evidence to get a search warrant for dog fighting? i hate to say it but texas isnt safe on dog hunting. and several yrs back when they cracked down on the catch dog competitions i was on a cnn report on dog fighting right after michael vick.they didnt bother to state that i was doing a completely legal activity at the time though. all this is also a reason i get bad when i see folks that are dog hunters say how bad the heli hunters are. we are all in the same boat and its sinkin fast and some here on this board will see some states all but abolish hunting . ok off my soap box, gary
