Doesn't bother us one bit.. Justin I've seen plenty of lines 5 generations back that are cuts and still open as all get out. If you don't like an open dog then you've probably never hunted a good one.
Bens pup is out of boogie. The most open cur dog I've hunted behind. I'd put boogie against any dog out there.
We don't categorize our dogs as silent or open, they are either a hog dog or a cull
You got the wrong impression Tony, i have nothing against em and have hunted with a few nice open dogs, i just personally prefer silent dogs. Different strokes is all.
