I've hunted with a few dogs from greyhound mixes that could strike hogs. Kind of a crap shoot. Some looked like lanky lean cur type dogs with no nose and some looked just like greyhounds but could take tracks better than some of the colder nosed cur dogs I've seen. But being a sight hound, I wouldn't expect much nose generally from a greyhound cross.
