Thanks for the ideas.
I recently moved and currently have my dogs seperated into temporary 5' X 10' kennels framed under a gravel floored lean-to on my barn. The concrete crew is working as we speak, but there's no way my permanent kennels will be constructed before my gyp whelps.
At my old place, I had a ramp up to a portable building with a swing door the mama dog could push to open comming in or out. I built a 4' X 4' whelping box and just put it inside the building. All worked perfectly, and because the building was fenced around she was free to come in and out as she chose.
Still trying to toss around ideas...
