Leo Dollins originally started his line of Plotts off of Brandenbburgers Pioneer Jake. They were a very large hounds in the 80# class. He bred them for bear but also hunted bobcat with them. They were very cold nose hounds with big bawl mouths. Leo had a guide service & he used these dogs to catch bears for clients.
