New hunters toting guns with your dogs on hunt

I dont hunt with a lot of new people never have really cared about it myself. But if I did and they were all carrying guns I would imagine I would not even let a dog loose. I got buddys now I have known for years that all want to go but carry big rifles and I just have to find some reason not to go . I have mention it to them that those rifles are just to big and you cannot shoot those things around my dogs because they would leave the country and besides if any shooting gonna be done its by me and only two other guys I turst with it and that is Cory and Kyle anybody else I just leave my dogs in the truck. Ole Tom Graham was one of the best shots I ever seen in my life around dogs hell he taught me really and if he was here he would be one other but thats about it. Its just not worth one of my dogs lives and I would really really feel like crap if it happened !
