Got a questino for the guys that don't bring a gun. Are you saying you have a gun in the truck or you just don't bring one period? Im not judging in any way, what you do is your decision, same goes for me, I just can't see going to the woods with the intent of catching an animal that can literally beat a dog to a pulp and beat grown man down  ( I know its not a common occurrance but still...) without a gun of some sort at least at the truck. Im not even gonna get started on some of the wierdo's i've run into while hunting that weren't supposed to be on the property I was on. Like I said not trying to start anything but for me, my gun is like having a 4x4 truck........I may not need it and I may not ever use it but its there, just in case......I may be too paranoid lol but with exception to work (chemical plant) I carry a gun almost as much as I carry my wallet/phone...... I like the re-assurance that if it hits the fan I have something to help my crippled ass  Grin

I'm on the same page. I always have my pistol on me, it's habit. Do I plan on using it? No. But you never know what might happen.
