I don't know how many dogs your housing, but I would think if over 1, the 55 gal drum thing isn't going to work. I put at 1,750 gallon system at my kennels and wish I had put larger. I have twelve pens that go into mine. I'd have to search back through old posts but I put up one when I built my kennels 3 or 4 years ago and told how I did it.
