Starting a 3 year old dog...

I got a three year old bmc that had found a hog a month ago but didn't really know what to do. So the following week I got chance to work her in a bay pen wasn't really impressed but she did show interest. About a week ago went to deer lease she jumped on some hogs with her seven month old pup. Was really happy with her attitude but I still need her to run with some experience dogs to get her to range out she still hangs around me when I walk . Her pup is seven months old is doing real good just really need them to range out . I wish I could've started her younger but I like her cause she just mature and laid back don't really have to get on her.she's coming around just happy to see it to start to click in her head. Thats all I could ask for.
