She is doing okay considering. She had to have a blood transfusion two days ago, but she is doing decent. Every time I talk to her on the phone, she has a different story as to what happened, bless her heart. First she was on a cruise and fell while on the ship, then she was at a baseball game and fell.
I just hope she still remembers me by the time I can make it to FL to see her at some point.
The next step, is that she will be going to a rehab facility for ten days to start walking again. I want to look into one of those life alert type bracelets. Thank God my Aunt was home at the time she fell and hadn't left for work yet, otherwise she would have been on the floor in pain for hours, unable to get to the phone.
I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you all who sent the positive thought/prayers her way. Means a lot. Her and my Aunt are the only family I have.
