I'm sure you found a good one at the pound but all it takes is one bad one to turn your world upside down.
That can happen even with one raised from a pup or obtained from a friend etc....After all they are animals, and like any animal human or not were all unpredictable at times. You never know when anything or anybody will snap under pressure etc....
It's all just my opinion so it doesn't mean anything but I disagree. A dog that has been bred for the right temperament and is raised right should never have that issue. Just my opinion.
I used to believe that and have the same opinion. Until a dog raised by us and friends almost killed her. He was never mistreated and was her "baby" until he bit her requiring extensive surgery. Thank god she is still alive and for Texas Childern's plastic surgery unit in Houston. I will NEVER trust a dog again no matter what breed and how well I know their bloodline etc. An I don't need to say where the dog is.
But as you said it is your opinion. As this is mine.
