There is a guy up the road that owns a lawn mower shop. He is from South Africa--born and raised there. Things got bad over their so he moves to the USA.
His daughter was enrolling in the school at Bullard, Tx.. She checked the box for race as African American even though she is blue eyed and blond. The folks at the school pitched a fit about that deal and told her she was not an African American.
I beg your pardon. She was, in fact, actually an African American by definition. She was probably more African American that any black in Smith county. All they wanted to do was to deny her any benefits reserved for blacks. That is just the truth.
