I was extremely lucky on my cd.  My buddy had her and gave her to me, but he had plenty of offers from people to buy her.  His idea was, I hunt with him, and he hunts with me, he knows how she catches, and I didn't have a good catch dog.  We both sleep better at night knowing that when we send the cd in, it is going to do it's job.  He could have sold her for pretty good money, but instead he gave her to me, and he continues to benefit from her.
