I feel that a catch dog is just as important as your best cur. A lot of dogs catch. Few are catchdogs. I gave 200-300 for one and got anther in a package deal. I would not sell ether one. I like knowing the hog is controlled when they get there. My best dog will help catch. Her getting cut has been drastically reduced after I got my big male bulldog. He is 90-95 pounds of hog hate. I have never bred a dog but last week he was bred to a nice female catchdog if that says anything.
its not bad to breed two proven dogs and if he's that big and if the dam is close give me a shout I may take one I want to raise one more
