heres mine. Cobaine has been with me for almost four years now an was two when my cousin give him to me. He was just a couch potato till the day I got him. Told my cousin he was either gunna make a hand or I would give him to my sister as a house dogs. I put a bay vest on em an threw him in the pen with a big boar(215#) that I had in the baypen. He looked clueless for about five seconds until instinct kicked in. Got tossed in the air a few time then caught ear and skull. Ever since then he's been a blessing. Been caught 30 mins and more several times from different circumstances in the woods. Best part is being able to speak to him like a human. Won't start a fight but he won't be made a punk either. Along with all my older males and a few females. I train mine to be hunting dogs not lap dogs, as well as family dogs. Any of my family and kids could ride any of them but when it's time to hunt playing is not on the agenda. I take precautions with him (kennel and log chain) because he has got ahold of a stray that came within reach on his chain while my female was in heat. In my opinion he did my job for me but saved me a bullet. All pits should be respected of their breed and what they were bred for. We've had dozens of pits in the past and ever dog is different. I have seen that when most males get older (6+) they have a small tolerance for BS just like an old man. I'm the same way but I no when to walk away and cool off, hard to teach an old male dog that. Getting ready to castrate my male soon with no doubt in my head he will still be the best CD I've ever hunted behind. I've turned down 1000$ for him twice and would turn down way more. If he was ever to leave my yard it would be to a very close buddy that I know would take care of him the same as me and I wouldn't sale him. If your in it for the money, you've completely missed the whole meaning of the sport.
