I've raised treeing fiest for years. Still have my original male dog (14 years old now) and in my opinion there isn't a better squirrel dog out there. I had a mountain curr once that was ok, but she turned out to be a much better coon dog than squirrel. Right now I have a curr mix female that is a great squirrel dog, just wish I knew what the other part of the "mix" was, so I could raise more just like her. .
