Not exactly.... They were dreamed up by Calvin Boute and Robert K.
Carlton picked up the project and moved it forward and has done well with them..
I had one of the first CSD's and competed with her with great success.
The name came from Calvin having a sign on his kennels that said "cajun squirrel dogs" that's how that came up with the name for the cur/feist cross dogs.
