What's a catch dog worth ?

Well the question was "what's a catch dog worth"... Just any old cd that you can lead in and him go to a bay short range- free/100$. I've never sold one for more then 50$ I did trade a guy a six foot trailer one time, still haven't used it smh. Real easy to get just another cd, but the good ones and the great ones are few an far between.

Just being able to catch good and ride in a box or truck well doesn't do much for me. I guess I'm just harder to please when it comes to catch dogs. If he can't handle the heat/walking miles/back to back hunts the dog is just another cd. Don't get me wrong, the big fat pretty muscled up bulldogs I see all the time are nice but I've seen plenty die and a hog never touched one. The heat and drowning is a big issue with the big muscled up breeds. That's one big reason a lot of people walk their bulldog all the way up to the bay, then pray that they do t miss and the hog doesn't break for a river.

when you get that catchdog that pretty much does every single thing that you could ask for him, there's not a price tag you can put on em. ALTHOUGH I am looking for a house:) haha
