Yep I'm thinking the range will remain the same.... I'm usually getting 1.25-1.5 on normal types until I loose signal. I did do a road test from riding down the road and got 2.5 but that was on top of hills and not really in woods.
I figure the folks who invest/build this equipment spent plenty of time/$ to get it as best as possible....I'm just glad I got a good deal on 4 antennas.
