This cross was bout even last time. The first cross had it all......nose, natural hunt and dead game to the bone. But we had a bad run and had several killed last year. Hoping to find my next brood gyp in this cross if they finish out right in the timber.
sounds like mother nature is helping with the culling...you should consider vesting up the gritty ones...I am running vests on 2 of my four that I hunt...
She sure is but in some strange ways. Only lost one to hog...it was just bad thicket and bad hog. Another was lost to a limb falling out of a tree and killed a male pup my partner had on a chain
The other was about the strangest ordeal so far. A Bat fell out of a tree above my dog pen and my best gyp pup nailed his butt. Dang thing had something and it ate her down to the bone like parvo....but wasn't.
Only two left between me and North Cedar Creek but made some gooduns.
We gonna whittle through this litter and see of it yields the same mojo.
