   nope the pawn shops turn in the tickets to the police dept and the police dept run them  .  things happen even after that  lol  we sold a gun out of the pawn shop I managed in dallas to a dallas cop and he ran the numbers on it and it came up stolen out of the Houston police dept property room  .
