To all you game dog buffs.

Reuban, I got a whole box full of pedigrees, books on the matches they used to have, pictures. It will take quite a while to sort thru it all. Some of the print in these older magazines is so small, I don't know if it will scan well or not. I will try to put something up every day.
  On a side note, he confirmed what Richard Stratton said in his first book in that they put down any dogs that showed aggression towards people. He also said the blue pits of today are not pure pits.
  Most of the dogs he had were a light yellow or fawn color but he did have a few brindles. He has been out of the dog business for quite a while but he has a weath of history stored up in this box he let me borrow.
  Another topic we touched on were the red nose pits. He told me they were so watered down that it did not even really matter anymore. He also said just because a dog is red means nothing. If they did not have the red nose with the red color they were not what the original red nose pits were.
