Do not know much about the cross other then what I have read but I would definitely go the route of the stag. Pretty much the same size as an actual greyhound just much tougher and built to work in the woods better. I do know greyhounds tend to be pretty fragile as my grandparents had a couple of rescues when I was young. If you want something smaller just use a smaller bulldog. I think there are prob more good small bulldogs than large. Just a thought. Good luck with whichever way you go.
